Filter Changes & Maintenance Plans in York, Simcoe & Durham

A water treatment system is only as good as its last service. We change cartridges, membranes, UV lamps and media on any brand, on a schedule set from your water rather than the calendar, and we test while we are there.

Overview

Service on any system, whoever installed it

Every stage has a service life: sediment cartridges clog, carbon exhausts, RO membranes scale, UV lamps lose output while still glowing, iron media wears, softener resin ages. Leave any of them too long and the system quietly stops doing its job, usually without anyone noticing until the staining or the taste is back.

We service every kind of residential and light commercial water treatment: softeners, whole-home filtration, iron and sulphur filters, RO, UV and conditioners, from any manufacturer. A service visit includes a water test at the raw and treated taps, so you see the system is working rather than assuming it.

Our maintenance plan sets intervals from your test results and water use, reminds you when each stage is due, and gets you priority scheduling and plan pricing on parts.

  • Sediment, carbon and RO cartridge changes
  • RO membrane replacement with TDS testing to prove it
  • UV lamp and sleeve service, annual
  • Iron filter and softener media rebeds
  • Softener check-ups, salt delivery and reprogramming
  • Cottage seasonal shutdown and start-up

Filter service in Keswick, Georgina and York Region

We service systems in every town we cover, from Orillia and Beaverton down to Richmond Hill and Whitby. Well systems in East Gwillimbury, King and Georgina tend to need more frequent sediment changes and annual UV service. Municipal systems in Newmarket, Aurora and Richmond Hill are mostly carbon cartridges, softener checks and RO filters.

Cottages on Lake Simcoe around Jackson's Point and Pefferlaw get a spring start-up and fall shutdown so the system survives the winter and is safe to drink from in May.

Installation

What a water filter, UV and RO service visit covers

We test the water in and out, change every cartridge, lamp or membrane that is due, clean UV sleeves and RO housings, check the softener's brine tank, settings and salt, with softener repair on the same visit if the check-up finds a fault, confirm backwash and drain flow on iron filters, and look for leaks and worn fittings. You get a short written record of what was done and what is due next.

Common Questions

Filter Changes & Service Questions, Answered

What homeowners ask before booking.

Can you service a system I bought elsewhere? +
Yes. We service all common brands and carry cartridges, lamps, membranes and media for them. Big-box, rental company and builder-installed systems are all fine.
How often does my system need service? +
It depends on the stages and your water. As a rule: sediment cartridges every three to twelve months, carbon six to twelve, RO filters yearly and the membrane every few years, UV lamps yearly, softener check-ups yearly. We set the intervals from your test results.
What does the maintenance plan include? +
Scheduled visits with all routine cartridges, lamps and a water test each time, priority booking, reminders and plan pricing on any non-routine parts. Salt delivery can be added.
Do you replace rental softeners? +
We service them if the rental company allows it, and we quote a purchase replacement if you want to stop paying rent on a unit that was never sized for your water.
