Hard water we fix. Wells we test first. Everything here is about your water and nothing else.

By Town

Services by town

Hardness changes from town to town across York, Simcoe and Durham. Each town page shows the official number and links the report it came from.

Keswick

8.8 grains per gallon Hard

Our home base. Keswick water is hard, and you already know it from the kettle and the shower glass. We fix it with a Canadian-made softener, built in Barrie, and show you the hardness before and after.

Sutton & Georgina

8.4 grains per gallon Hard

Sutton, Jackson's Point and the Lakeshore communities run on hard Lake Simcoe water. You already know it. We fix it with a Canadian-made softener and show you the hardness before and after. Wells and lake intakes get tested first.

East Gwillimbury

9.4 grains per gallon Hard

Sharon and Queensville are on hard water, and new homes feel it first in the tankless heater. You already know it. We fix it with a Canadian-made softener and show you the hardness before and after.

Holland Landing

9.8 grains per gallon Hard

Holland Landing water is hard and carries more iron than almost anywhere else in York Region. You already see it in the kettle and the water heater. We fix it with a softener set up for both, and show you the numbers.

Newmarket

8.2 grains per gallon Hard

Newmarket water is hard. You already know it from the shower glass and the kettle. We install Canadian-made softeners, built in Barrie, and show you the hardness before and after.

Aurora

7.6 grains per gallon Hard

Aurora water is hard, at the low end of the band. You still see it on the glass and in the kettle. We size the softener to match, not oversell it, and show you the hardness before and after.

Bradford

6.4 to 7.6 grains per gallon Moderately hard to hard

The Town calls its own water moderately hard to hard, depending on which zone you are in. You already see it on the taps. We size the softener to your zone and show you the hardness before and after.

Innisfil

7.4 grains per gallon Hard

Across the lake from Keswick. Most of Innisfil is on hard Lake Simcoe water. Churchill is soft, and we will tell you so. We fix hard water with a Canadian-made softener and show you the hardness before and after.

Beaverton & Brock

8.7 to 20.2 grains per gallon Hard to very hard

Same township, very different water. Beaverton is hard. Cannington and Sunderland are very hard. You already know which one you have. We size the softener to it and show you the hardness before and after.

King City

7.7 to 15.4 grains per gallon Hard to very hard

King City is hard. Nobleton and Schomberg are about twice as hard. You already know which one you live with. We size the softener to it and show you the hardness before and after.

Stouffville

18.6 grains per gallon Very hard

Stouffville water is very hard. In York Region's 2026 Q2 table it was the hardest of all. You already know it. We fix it with a Canadian-made softener and show you the hardness before and after.

Richmond Hill

7.4 grains per gallon Hard

Richmond Hill water is hard, at the low end. You still see it on the glass. We size the softener small and tell you so, and show you the hardness before and after.

Mount Albert

18.5 grains per gallon Very hard

Your water is hard. You already know it. Mount Albert's town wells are some of the hardest in York Region, and the farms around the village are on private wells. We fix the first and test the second.

Uxbridge

10.9 grains per gallon Very hard

Uxbridge runs on municipal wells, and the water is very hard. Not by a mile, but over the line. Durham Region says a softener is your call. Here is the honest case for one.

Port Perry

16.0 grains per gallon Very hard

Lake view, well water. Port Perry sits on Lake Scugog, but the taps run on municipal wells, and so do Greenbank and Blackstock. All three are very hard.

Barrie

3 to 20 grains per gallon Depends on your zone

Barrie has two very different waters. Groundwater zones are very hard. Lake Simcoe zones are much softer. Check your zone. If it is hard, we fix it. If it is not, we will tell you.

Alliston

5.8 to 13.9 grains per gallon Moderately hard to very hard

Alliston's water is a blend of local wells and Georgian Bay water piped in from Collingwood. Hardness depends on which well or reservoir feeds your street. Most of it is hard. Some of it is very hard.

Orillia

10.6 to 22.8 grains per gallon Very hard

Orillia's water is very hard, and on the west side it is the hardest official number anywhere we work. Lake Couchiching water, blended wells, and one very hard well.

Whitby

7.3 grains per gallon Hard

Whitby drinks Lake Ontario. It is hard, at the low end of hard. Not very hard. So we size the softener small and tell you so.
