Questions

Pricing questions

Do these prices include installation? +
Yes. Every price on this page is the installed price: the system, the bypass and fittings, the install itself, and a hardness reading before and after so you can see the difference. HST is extra.
Why is the 45,000 grain softener the same price as the 30,000? +
Because the size should come from your household, not from the price. We size the softener to how many people live in the house and how many bathrooms you have, and the price does not move. Only a 60,000 grain unit for a very large household costs more, and that is $400 on any series.
Which softener do most homes get? +
On town water, the Chlor-A-Soft, because municipal water here arrives hard and chlorinated and it handles both in one tank. On a well, the Superior or Premium, or an Ultimate if the well carries more iron.
What if my well has a lot of iron or a sulphur smell? +
Then a softener alone is not the answer. Iron above what the softener is rated for, or a rotten egg smell, needs its own filter ahead of the softener. That gets quoted after in-depth well testing, so the price matches what the water actually needs.
How much do I save bundling a softener and reverse osmosis? +
$295. Any softener plus reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink, installed in the same visit, comes in $295 under the two bought separately. A Chlor-A-Soft with reverse osmosis is $4,495 plus HST.
Do you need to visit before you quote? +
No. Call, text or use the form with your town, water source, how many people live in the house and how many bathrooms. That is enough to size the softener and give you a fixed written price.
Is the well water test free? +
The on-site test is free: hardness, iron, manganese, pH, dissolved solids and hydrogen sulphide at your tap. Lab panels for bacteria, nitrates, metals or PFAS are quoted before we sample. See well water testing.
Why do you publish your prices? +
Because you already know your water is hard. You should not have to sit through a sales visit to find out what fixing it costs.
